- Pick two or three workflows with a clear owner, a measurable KPI and a manageable blast radius.
- Inventory the AI already in use, including copilots, chatbots and shadow AI tools staff have adopted.
- Classify the data each agent will touch and keep regulated data in the UAE.
- Give every agent its own identity with least-privilege access to tools and systems.
- Define the human approval points for payments, customer changes and other material actions.
- Log every agent action so you can explain and audit what happened.
- Test agents against prompt injection and the OWASP Top 10 for LLM applications before go-live.
- Map controls to UAE PDPL, DIFC or ADGM rules, sector regulators and ISO/IEC 42001.
- Name an owner and a governance forum for AI risk, and monitor agents in production.

Is agentic AI adoption mandatory for Dubai companies?
Reports describe the programme as a two-year push for Dubai's private sector, backed by training, a marketplace of ready agents and dedicated support. Check the official Dubai Chambers announcements for what applies to your company; we can help you plan either way.
Where should a Dubai company start?
Start with a short readiness assessment: choose two or three workflows with clear owners and KPIs, check the data and the risks, then build governed agents for those workflows first.
What is the Dubai AI Seal?
The Dubai AI Seal is a certification from the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence that identifies trusted AI companies in Dubai. Firms certified under it are taking part in the government's agentic AI accelerator.
How do we stay compliant while moving fast?
Give each agent its own identity and least-privilege access, require human approval for material actions, log everything and test agents against prompt injection before go-live. Map those controls to UAE PDPL and any DIFC, ADGM or sector rules that apply.
